Chameleon funky hydration

Hello all! So I have a 1.5 year old ambanja male, and he seems to be having trouble getting properly hydrated. I mist the cage a couple times a day and run a dripper twice a day as well. When the dripper is turned on he will go to the corresponding leaf and drink but only for a very short time, he usually will then begin to drool. I know he is not hydrated due to his urate being closer to yellow than white and his eyes sink mildly every so often. Any suggestions or concerns?

Sounds like a respitory infection if he's drooling

Drooling

Is it possible that he could get better on his own or does this have to be treated? Because his drooling used to be daily and now it's every couple days and his eating has sky rocketed since he was drooling constantly.

I would still go to the vet because uri's can kill
