    possible plants?

Is it a dwarf variety? It would probably be ok in a vivarium for awhile, but might eventually outgrow it.

    Panther Fell

I don't know what nasty bugs you're referring to. I wouldn't put a wc animal on a natural substrate without first passing a clean fecal exam. I guess I should clear up that by natural, I do not mean digging up soil from outside, but something like ABG mix. I then seed with springtails and...

    possible plants?

Due to their size, I think they might be hard to grow indoors, unless you have a greenhouse. Any cham smaller than a parson's or oustalet might not be able to get a good foothold of the leaf stems. If I had a larger living room I'd try one. But for now I'd rather not have to duck under the...

    Panther Fell

Is it acting any differently? Even if there aren't any visible broken bones there could still be some swelling/bruising to it's soft tissues. If it appears ok, then I'd just give it lots of privacy to reduce stress as much as possible. Not to start an argument or offend anyone, but this is...

    Female Jackson help

By "blue bulb" do you mean the Zoo Med daylight Blue bulb? They are ok. Is she able to escape the path of the UVB bulb? The compact fluorescent (or screw type) UVB bulbs emit a very high concentration of UVB over a tight range (even the 5% ones). I recommend positioning the UVB bulb near a...

    Large cage, quick uvb questions

If you ordered the dual T5 fixture from LYR, I think they come with a 6500k bulb included.

    possible plants?

I have no experience with dischidia, but creeping fig is an easy, and fast grower under good lighting. You could train it to grow up your vines.

    possible plants?

A jewel orchid would get destroyed by all but pygmies. I've been testing out a Lady Palm, and it is doing very well under vivarium conditions. It's supposed to be a slow grower, and one source which I read said that if grown under good lighting it'll only get about 4-5' tall. It provides...

    Carpets-lots of Carpets! :)

Nice work. I'm tempted to take some off your hands in a few months, if they're available. Do you house them outside during our warmer months?

    Time to Upgrade!

Those are nice looking wood vivs. It looks like they have rear vents at different heights, which move air quite a bit via convection. I'm assuming the top is all screen. As long as the dimensions suit you, my vote is for the wood viv. You may just need to waterproof the interior if not...

    lighting

Ditto, if you want more light for the plants, just get 6500ks. Depending on how much light you want there are 2,4, and 8 bulb t5 fixtures available in 24" length. I run a 4 bulb fixture and only one is a uvb bulb, from Light Your Reptiles.

    Chamaeleo dilepis

I kept an awesome flapneck years ago. I negotiated her from a local pet shop in which she was nearly dead for $10. I started with a cage, but was not happy with the lack of humidity. I shuffled some other herps around and got her moved into a large tall aquarium that was heavily planted, and...

This is certainly possible in the wild. But, the owner of that veiled is a moron because that anole could very well have parasites.

I think frank is dying. Please help!

By "Bug juice" do you mean mashing up a feeder to administer via dropper? I wouldn't wory about that right now. The severe dehydration is the first concern because if not properly hydrated, any food items may only create more stress on him.

    veiled swollen jaw looks dislocated

You don't have to swap out the glass. But you definitely need uvb lighting. I'd recommend a t5ho forest uvb lamp because your enclosure is so tall. LightYourReptiles has these and you will not be disappointed with the Arcadia bulbs.

    Starting to really worry me

Also, sometimes you have to mist for awhile, as in a few minutes constantly, and that can trigger them to start drinking for some reason.

    Starting to really worry me

Is your enclosure only 18" high? If so, since it's screen, I'd recommend rotating it so that it's 3' high. What is the basking temp?
