    I also think a leash is a silly idea and I don't know how could it work? If the chameleon goes too high you pull him down with the leash? I suppose he would easily injure himself, or get stuck on the trees... I think after using a little common sense there wouldn't be need for this question...

    As for the calcium in the bones of vertebrates, chameleons can't digest and absorb them...the bones just get expelled with their excrements...snakes on the other hand can digest bones as they have a very long digesting period...so, no calcium from the bones from the vertebrate preys of chameleons...

    You probably have a Phalaenopsis cultivar...sometimes they regrow flowers from the same flower stem but sometimes they don't. I think it is better to give the plant a rest time and let it prepare for the next flowering...how long did the flowers last? The can ususally last for months, if they...

    Here are a few more photos of the cage. The cage is made for indoor purpose, 3 sides are of mesh the 4th is made of glass... It is not finished yet as I have to put a few more plants for the little ones to hide, but most of the hard work is done... All the best Filip

    Thanks Trace, however, the pics named 1 (1.0, 1.1 etc..) are all of the same cham, the ones names with 2 are of the other. The first one is very shy, but eats well, and is very calm. The other one is already pretty agressive, can't stay in one place and it always try to escape when I take them...

    With this you will collect only plying insects, including wasps, moths, coleoptera...etc...and only night creatures...except for the moths the rest cannot be used and there will be tons of smaller insects... You will do much better with a net... F.

    Thanks, I searched google before posting and I am more interested to see if anyone had the same problem. It is just peculiar that they don't last more than 3 days and the wild cought field crickets can survive without problems in the same conditions... F.

    Since I feed my chams wild cought grasshoppers I tried to keep them alive and healthy as long as possible, but they keep on dieing after 3 days or so. Did anyone have the same experience and did anyone try to breed them and raise succesfully? I keep them in plastic containers and feed them...
