Hello guys,
I have a 1 yr old Nosy Be, male. Found out I am pregnant and sadly enough don't have the space for him. There is no place I have that I feel I can keep his stress level low enough while raising a baby.
Anyways, I am just seeing if anyone is interested, not looking to really...
I have a walk-in closet and I feel like my chameleon sees too much traffic and has too much light on during the evening with my computer and sometimes television on. Would it be a terrible idea to put him in the closet that way I could keep the door closed when light is on and whatnot? It...
Is it normal for my cham to get into his sleeping spot up to an hour before his lights turn off? He doesn't close his eyes and go to sleep then, he just gets in position and curls his tail. Anyone elses cham do that?
He wont eat worms. Maybe I am presenting them wrong but I think that the worms scare him.
How did everyone here get their cham to start eating worms?
Thank you in advance!
I put a couple super worms in a cup and dusted of course... put them in his cage and I don't think he's ever cup fed before... he keeps trying to shoot his tongue at the outside of the milky colored Tupperware. Hope he catches on soon... I feel like I'm teasing him. I know he wants them bad!
I am on my phone and did a search but being on my phone made it rarer difficult to find my answer. I ordered mealworms from great lakes hornworm and realized I don't know how to care for them. They have arrived so any help as quickly as possible would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
I am sick... I don't want to pass anything on to my cham of course. Should I have someone else get the crickets and dust them and give them to my cham? Or should I be alright as long as I'm not coughin' my sickness all over him? I would like him to know that I am the one who feeds him and what...
I have an 11 week old Nosey Be that I got from LLLReptile last Saturday so I have had him for 8 days.
He always seems to find a new spot to hang out at in his cage which is a 2X2X4 screen enclosure. Generally he spends a lot of time in the top of his cage but not an abundant amount of time...
When every anyone talks about making a gutload for their crickets they mention apples, carrots, kale, mustard greens, squash, etc.. I've never seen anyone say anything about oranges? Are oranges good in a cricket gutload? The fact that they are so moist/wet I assumed would be a good thing, so I...
I don't know if I am posting this in the wrong place, and sorry if I am, but I have a question. I ordered some stuff from Great Lakes Hornworm on Wednesday as it said in order to ship out the worms/crickets that week you have to order by Wednesday. There is no way to track the shipment and they...
Which would be the best worms to feed a 2.5 month old panther? Would I gutload the worms the same as crickets? Oranges, apples, greens, etc.? Also, is buying worms from a pet store like PetCo or PetSmart a bad idea?
Any opinions would be helpful. Thank you!
Today I went to the LLLReptile Grand Opening Sale in Menifee. Super awesome by the way! Had a great time, and saw the awesome set up!
Anyways, to the point, I got an awesome set up with everything I need. I put my new Nosy Be Panther in his cool new home and everything seems up to par. I...
So, LLL is having their "Grand Opening Sale" tomorrow and I looked on their website and was unable to see an opening time for Saturday. Does anyone know when they open? Also, I am looking into purchasing everything I need for a new cham. I don't have one so I have nothing, with the exception of...
I was looking on the LLL website and was going to order an enclosure but I saw that it said they were opening a store in Menifee this October. Does anybody know what day? I'd like to go check it out, save the money on shipping and maybe ask a few questions. Also, does anybody know if they plan...
On LLLReptile they have the 175 gallon cham package. This package comes with 16 quarts of tropical moss. Since it is sold with the cham package on LLL is it safe to say that the moss is good to use in their cages?
I purchased a Veiled Chameleon along with what the Pet Store girl told me I needed. I did not do research on my own about what it was the Chameleon needed and I feel like a dumby for it. Needless to say I have learned from my mistake but my buddy has to go back to see the vet and truthfully, I...
I just got a Veiled Chameleon about a week and a half ago. I am keeping the area small and simple for now, I'm setting the money aside go all out on a fantastic set up when he needs the upgrade. I took this picture about a week ago. Wish it was a better shot, but he doesn't like to be held, and...
