I have a 40 gallon breeder aquarium that I began setting up for a reef fish tank, but I want to go another route.
The equipment is brand new and has never been run (aside from the few tests for leaks.) It needs to be sold as one package as it is all plumbed and ready. I wont part it out...

So my two male pugs love to catch pigeons. They often succeed and then have a bloody feast. How bad is this for them? I mean it cant be completely bad as they are very healthy dogs, but it happens often enough for me to wonder what the consequences may be. Anyone have any suggestions as to what...

Hey guys, just wanted to drop in and show you my new Cham. Hes a blue-bar ambilobe and is about 5 months old. I couldn't be happier with the little guy! I named him Wolf Blitzer :D.
I'll get some better photos in a few days!
What do you guys use as shipping bags or similar when shipping your chams? I dont have a "reptile bag" and would like to know/see some of the alternatives.
Thanks
Its with a heavy heart that I post this ad. After having him for a month, it seems that the strains of keeping him have not hit me, but my mother, who cant tolerate such a large chameleon, and enclosure. I am currently working at trying to council her into changing her mind but, so he doesn't...
What a month its been. Exactly 1 month ago I ventured into my local reptile shop in hopes of walking out with a veiled chameleon (my first chameleon as well) and instead I walked out with a WC mellers, in hope of giving it a better life. I think I'm doing good so far. He has changed a lot since...
Just wanted to share my new enclosure for my Mellers. It is a 3x4x6.5 foot tall cage made from pvc and plastic mesh and hundred upon hundreds of zip ties. I installed his misting system and all thats left is to put denser foliage in the cage. He has been moved in and so far seems to be loving...
Hey guys,
Been a few days since I posted, and my cham is doing great. He's active and is getting fatter and healthier everyday. My only concern is this: For the past two weeks, He has been refusing to eat unless I present it to him. This strikes me as incredibly odd. At first I thought...
Well, I'm almost done building the new cage for my Mellers Chameleon. It is 3x4x6 enclosure (I know the 3 foot side is a tad short but its biggest I could do) Its built basically to in the same style as the cage picture in the tutorial at Melleri discovery (http://www.melleridiscovery.com/) It...
Hey Guys!
With my new Mellers and its large space requirment, I was starting to consider maintaining it in an outdoor setup. This wouldn't be difficult for me for a variety of reasons: Living in south Florida has its perks with beautiful weather most for the year and I have easy access to...
Well, I'm going to start of by saying that I'm a good person, and thats what primarily fueled this purchase. Here we go: I went to my local pet shop to pick up my veiled chameleon. He had just finished selling his last one a day before, and told me more he would have a few more (that he...
I'm looking for a Male Veiled Chameleon or Blue Barred Ambilobe. Looking for one 5-10 months old. Would prefer Local Pickup but shipping is alright. I live in miami and will be willing to drive up to 50 miles. Thanks! :D
This Friday I will be picking up my first chameleon, a 2-3month old veiled from a local reptile shop. I took a look at them last week and they look small, as expected. Besides the feeding issue, which im adressing with a feeder cup,What are the dangers of keeping smaller chameleons in full...
So earlier today I was wandering my backyard and happened to cross a rather large green anole (seemed to small to be a cuban knight) I creeped up to it and caught it swiftly. After a few quick bites and a few minutes of observation, I let him go reluctantly.
I was wondering, how are these...
