Hey all
As some of you are aware, I’m a long term big Kinyongia fan. Right now, the only available Kinyongia in the states is Boehmei. Small species that historically has not had a lot done with it here in the states. Hopefully this can help others enjoy the species and work with them a little...
Well.. I’ve literally been building this in my head for 15 years. Small ideas and adjustments here and there. I’m 2/3 of the way done at this point and couldn’t help but at least share a little now that it’s in my house!
The cage itself is 24” deep, 54” wide, and 48” tall. It will have glass...
Happy New Year everyone!
With the new year, what is everyone’s CHAMELEON related goals? Do you have plans to try a new species? Hatch your first clutch? Breed your own colonies of something?
This hobby has so many directions someone could go. From very basic, to extremely technical and time...
Hey yall. Alright, it’s time for me to take my feeder care to the next level. In all my years, I’ve generally only fed crickets (purchases, never bred my own nor do I plan to now), I’ve had successful Dubia colonies, which in the past I used heating pads but with all the regulator controls now...
Anyone got a male Kinyongia Boehmei they’d like to part with? I am in search for a male only. I have a female lined up. Several places online with farm raised I can get, but thought id check for a unicorn captive bred, or been captive in the states for awhile that someone wouldn’t mind parting with.
Just thought I’d share some old pics that majority of you Havnt seen before since I first posted them about 11 years ago 😊
Pair of Kinyongia Multituberculata. Pictures don’t do justice for the female, wish I would have had a good camera to pick up all the purples and blues inbetween and in the...
Hello all,
Bioactive stuff is new since I last kept chams 10 years ago. I’ve seen some things on bioactive roaches, but is anyone keeping their crickets in bioactive bins? Mainly asking because this will be my first round of keeping since I got married and I need to figure out how to keep...
Hello,
My son is pretty set on either a Jacksoni Jacksoni, or Xanth. I’ve been doing quite a bit of research the last few weeks but wanted to post and see if theirs anyone I’m missing. The ones I’ve found either don’t have any upcoming or not breeding anymore it appears. Any leads would be...
Hello all!
Looks like I’m back after a 10 year break. I see theirs still several names that were here back then, JannB, motherload, ace, and a few others. I am amazed how much information is available now (thanks Bill, for Chameleon academy, and all the other podcasters / social media peeps)...
Just checking in with the Kinyongia world. Sold my last chameleon (melleri) 3 years ago now this month. Slowly getting closer to getting back into chameleons again, which will be back into the Kinyongia. By far my favorite I had. I'm hoping next spring or so, but not really sure at this point...
Just a random thought i've had over the years...
We are always saying that chams prefer being higher in the cage due to them being arboreal lizards, for security, etc. Well i've always wondered, if they are always up towards the top (which is usually true), why dont we create cages that have...
Usually when i get on and click on "New Posts" their is often a few pages of threads. For the last week or so it only brings up maybe half a dozen or so threads. Its happening on the Desktop and Taptalk. Anybody experiencing the same thing?
Man... I miss my Chameleon days... Hoping i can be in a sitution to have them again in the next couple years. Here is an old video of my fav cham i had. "Lil H" I never named her so i started calling her Lil H because she was from Bloodline H from Seeco. Video is about 2 1/2 or 3 years old now...
Hey guys.
Haven't really been around much. Doesn't look like their is to much going on with Kinyongia.:(
Anyone still have breeding programs going on with any Kinyongia at all? I have lost touch with the KCK and dont hear what is going on anymore. I dont have any chams, but still...

I have wanted to keep melleri for a few years, but the room they require had always held me back.
Earlier this year I decided it needed to happen. So I started figuring out how I wanted to go about it. It got put off a few times, because im wanting to move, but got pretty serious a month ago...

So i'm looking for some options on dubia colonies. I have had a colony before and used heat pads on 24/7 but they really didn't breed that fast. I dont think it was quite hot enough.
The person i just bought a very large colony from said he uses heat tape to keep it 90+. So you more...
Looking for a larger sized breeding colony. Most everything i have seen does not come with very many adults.
If anybody out there has a colony way to big and needs to be thinned out, PM me with an offer. my zip is 84037. if you could put a price including shipping that'd be great.
