I have 2 panthers in XL screen cages with a promist system. They are 3 years old.
This past month the only thing that I have changed in their lives is to let them stay in separate trees in the yard for most of the day. I have done this every year with positive results.
For 3 weeks the...
I have 2 panthers in screen cages 1 foot apart. The sides are coverd and blocked so they can't see each other. Do you think they can sense each other? When I first got the younger one it seemed the older one knew something was up, but now they don"t seem to notice at least when I'm in the room...
How do y'all mist for 20 minutes without creating a wet smelly mess on the floor of your cage? My cage is a very large screen cage with a fiberboard bottom painted with some sort of white water repellent stuff. The live plants sit in tall " dishes" and I aim the dripper to land in the plant pot...
Hi,

I have some 3 month old young Jacksons from a breeder in Kenya. The mother died the day after giving birth. I heard these chameleons can have a skin worm parasite. Can this be passed to the young? They were removed from the mothers cage while still in the birth sack. the babies have some things...
Hi everyone,
Check out my new mom- to- be! She is from Mike at FLCHAMS.COM.
My biggest question is dealing with transfering the newborns to their nursery. What if she gives birth at night or when I'm at work??

p.s. I hope the picture comes through
For those of you with Jacksons: how and whend do you catch up the new babies? Do you use a bare enclosure for the mother in anticipation of having to collect newborns?
Hi,
I'm new. my son and I have a baby panther named "Tiki". I am an experienced reptile keeper but never had a panther before.
He is 2 months old and has quadrupled in size since I got him at the NY Reptile Show. He is still brown. When will he get some color?
