I like buying my silkworms in eggs and hatching them myself. I can order 2000 and place the eggs in the fridge only hatching how many I want at a time. You do have to feed them for a while though until they get the size you want them. I need very small ones for my baby cham and these are perfect.

Those are acuminatus (they are spikey :)) The short fat tail is the girl and the long tailed is the boy. Boys also have a larger nose. Wished I had some of these again but I will not pay the current price.

I fill the bottom half of my pots with sand. It really helps let go of all the extra water (just make sure you have a good drainage system for your cage) and it stopped all my plants from dying.

To hand feed crickets you can hold one of their back legs and hold them out for him. If you don't like to touch the crickets you can put them in a cup and hold it in front of him.

Anyone else's cham this picky?! Spike only likes to be hand fed. Whether I'm holding the cricket or holding the cup with the crickets, he's not interested unless it's in my hand. And to think he used to hide from me when I first brought him home.

Just love him! My jackson looks at my had like, "So, where is the cricket?" He won't even think of climbing on me.

I drive 3 hours to get anything from chameleon people. I live in the middle of the desert 1 hour from the closest grocery. Count yourself lucky.
