Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

...you are "filtering" a crap ton of unfiltered air through your tubes. This was my hypothesis too. "It doesnt matter if you use distilled water and black tubing". If you dont clean and have anti bacteria, you are going to get the pink stuff no matter how pure your water is. Your air is...

...that doesnt work well for adults. Pothos and dracaenas are impossible to kill, so i would start with those. I did not have to run distilled water through the mister, our hard well water was fine just going through a normal filter. Misting was a rotation of 2min every hour to keep humidity...

Hello! Thank you for all the feedback. As far as a hybrid enclosure, which brands do you recommend? I saw a t-Rex brand 36x18x36 that had more screen at Petco, or should I get a 2x2x4 and modify it with material on 3 sides, leaving the front door screen?

    Chams and Nepenthes

My vft recently shot off a big flower spike as well it's a nice unexpected reward for not killing it. I know the vft like a cold snap but in San Diego that's tough to accomplish. I left it out over night during our recent string of "chilly" nights and I think that did the trick I've veered away...

...mineral excess from the tap water rather than shedding. Shedding is very obvious and comes off in a layer rather then little flaky pieces. Consider changing to an RO system, distilled water, or a zero water filter system. See if the flaking stops. Plus is will make your equipment last longer.

Are this faucet filters any good?

Brita is about the same as the PUR mentioned above. If by 'jugg water' you mean RO or distilled, that's about as clean/pure as you can get without investing in a home distilled or RO system.

You do not want basking to be any hotter than 80-85 max if you have a female it has to be no hotter than 80. Tie in the probe at the basking branch to get an accurate reading. Ensure temps are correct. If a cham sits too close in high heat they will end up with a thermal burn. You can use...

Are this faucet filters any good?

Yeah, me too. I'm going through 7 gal/week just for the chameleon. You? RO water is allegedly le$$, but in our case the additional mileage to get RO water eats up any savings, so we just pick up distilled while grocery shopping.
