he is younger then 3 months IMO, by a little bit, i would age him at 2 months max but it is hard to tell without something to size him next to. for comparison, my veiled at 5-6 weeks also i feel worth noting, your chameleon should( more like WILL BE) ok in that cage without blocking any of it...

my 6 month old veiled is eating 20-24 "large" crickets a day, although i think some stores sell different size large chameleons. they are still much smaller then the large black crickets i see outside. also worth noting that i slowly started switching him from small to large at about 4 months...

How many are you keeping and in what size cage? A fight for food is prominent in chameleons this age and it can definitely effect the chameleons from what I've seen

It would be natural, or at least very possible that all of your adult chameleons would attack each other as they are solitary.

right now my i have about 2 months left on the reccomended lightbulb change for my young veiled, i currently have a 60w basking bulb and a compact 5.0 reptisun 13w. i would like to get a nicer, maybe deeper reaching uvb output as he likes to hang out in the middle of the cage alot more then not...

10.0 is for desert reptiles usually, providing too much uvb. 5.0 is reccomended for chameleons.

Why don't you let the crickets grow instead of blowing through 60-80 a day? They grow so quickly..

I do think it is worth stressing that chameleons are quite a bit of work compared to more common household pets IMO. Maintaining the chameleons living space is also part of owning a chameleon, and live feed is definitely not as easy as just plopping down a bowl of pellets. Just do your research...
