I just liked the idea of a little unit. It produced a fine mist but of course I do not know how it will hold up plus I have never seen a mist king.I have a little house with a growing amount of cages so compact is good for me.:) I am still not sure which on we shall see.

I went to a reptile show today and there was a display of the monsoon mist. It looks pretty good. there is no bucket or pump it looks like a humidifier that you can digitally program. Also just a thin black tubing goes up the side of enclosure. I can't compare to the mist king or any other...

Thanks for the info My husband is a pipefitter he can set this up for me. This will be good in my panthers 2x2x4 cage that one impossible to keep the humidity up.

Did you cut a hole in the screen to pipe it in ? Winter is dry here and cold.

I am struggling with the humidity I just covered 2 sides with plastic so the humidity is much better today so hopefully it will help her.

Yes she was wild caught. I did not realize that was not the best choice. I got her at underground reptles. Good I am glad I am just being paranoid. Sorry I had to take the pic quick she high tails it to the back of her cage away from me. :)
