Id just like to extend another thank you thank you to Dave. He hooked me up BIG TIME with 3 cages, plants and feeders.
I finally got the cages and plants/lights/misters all setup and figured it is now time to post pictures!
I know the cage on the left the shrubbery is a little low, but he...
Here is a fired up picture from today. He HATES the camera/ my phone so I usually get pretty good pictures. He is around 4 months old I believe and is super colorful just seems to be a slow grower :/
I have an aqua zamp mister and it worked great up until a week or so ago when I added a new cage and nozzle to it. The new cage came already with a mistking nozzle installed so I just put it inline with my aquazamp nozzle. I noticed a few days later that the mister hardly ever works now, like it...
He said she was roughly a year old, but she looks big for a year old female. This will be her first clutch ever as he had her since she was 4 months old. I wish i had the room to give her that much room for a lay bin but i just dont unless i swapped her into my males cage, but he is moody and...
Okay so im looking for preferably 18x18x36 (or larger i guess) cages in the socal area to pick up to finish my littler chameleon rack. I HATE having cages that are different sized and i already had 2 cages this size. I do not one with holes on the sides, but dont mind one that has a hole for a...
Okay, so Princess, my female panther, definitely has some eggs in here. I felt her belly today and there are definite lumps in there. I have never felt a prego cham, but i have felt eggs in snakes and I'd imagine the feeling is close to the same
right now she is in a 24x24x24 with...
Gotta love craigslist :)
I found this little girl on craigslist last night. Cham, full setup, and a TON of supplies for $240. I was STOKED. She is a year old nosy be from Screameleons and nice and fat and healthy. The dude was originally going to breed his male/female, but he said the male...
Im turning a lg rubbermaid tub into my cricket keeper and i have a few questions

2) has anyone used some sort of substrate...
Well today was an eventful day. Ive been showering OMerta every 3-4 days hoping to get him to shed and shake his eye issue (which is coming along a lot better) and when i got home from my DR apointment i caught just in time for lights out see see some amazing new colors :)
Shower...
I do my entire cage. That way if he wants to run and hide he cant get anywhere but his cage. (like try and climb up a tile wall or something) ive dont it both ways but always had the best results with the cage in the shower too)
I was just wondering if there was a time that is considered "too much" for you cham to be in the shower. I usually movem y cage into the bathroom, shower then put the cham in the shower so he is in the humidity/warm water for a good 45 minutes. Is that too much? He seems to love it he colors...
Your BP may climb to investigate the piggies but he wont hurt them, they are def too big.
The bags like Ryan said is a good trick. Just because he has been on a hunger strike doesnt mean a scent trap will not work. I have had retics that i had to feed in the middle of my living room because...
im no help here as i really dont know much about husbandry of not "normally kept" species, but i think this is the first thread ive seen someone say they DONT want a panther lol
You dont want to mount your bulbs verticle. It can mess with the chameleons natural patterns of heat/light gradients.
I was told and then watched Youtube videos of the light cycle unit and it really isnt what its made out to be. I would get a dual 48" linear fixture to spread across the top...
