Is there such thing as over feeding a chameleon? My 3month old veiled is eating about 20 crickets a day ....is that too much? I'm not sure if there's a limit ....

I m not too familiar but maybe they are too big for him... I have a veiled and sometimes if the cricket is a little too big he has trouble swallowing it...

Hi everyone... So I came home and immediately went to hold my veiled chamy and attend to him &.... I came to realize he just doesn't like being held:(, me getting near or or even misting him..... I guess some little veils just don't like it.... :( Here's a pic of my little guy!!

Hi.. I'm a newbie to the chamy too... but I understand that glass terrariums are not good for them.... it can cause respiratory problems... It might be too hot... I caught mine with his mouth open today and yawning... so I also am checking the heat as soon as I get home..

Well he gets the calcium 3x's a week... every other day... so when he gets 8-9 months old I should decrease that amount? I am going to get him the herptivite today!!!

Hi... My veiled chamy is 3 months old.. I was told to give him Reptical calcium w/o phosphorus 3x's a week and calcium d3 2x's a month... Should I also be giving him herptivite?

I dont know his basking temp.. I will check it today... but I have his lamp about 7 inch. away from his stick and he has several stick going down about 4-5 inches apart.... how hot should it be? I am thinking of getting a lamp stand... maybe it's too close... :confused:
