I have a 1+ year old veiled cham. He is about 8 inches s to v and has never had problems in the past. He is usually a very calm cham but over the last few days he has been walking on the sides and bottom of the cage. NOTHING in the cage has changed. and one odd thing i noticed is he stands on...
I would like to build a new cage for my cham but i was wondering if it was too big. I have a 1+ year old veiled and hes about 7 yo 8 inches snout to vent. i wanted to make the cage 5 feet tall x 3 feet wide x 2 feet deep. Would that be too big and i should wait or should i just go for it?
I would love to take my cham(male veiled) out side on a 6 foot fiscus but the problem is i cant get to him without heing hissed or lunged at.
How do i get him in and outside safe for both of us
My cham diezel stopped sheding 2 days ago. Hes only half way done. hes about 8-12 months old and its his 7th shed with me. ive never had this happen before and nothing has changed. Temps good eating and drinking very well. Some one help
yep thats shedding.. its kinda funny because my cham is shedding today too!! its the 5th shed in 5 months. its completely normal just make sure the humidity is normal because if the humidity is too low it will take longer to shed
I got my first veiled chameleon about 8 months ago and i got him around 4 inches total and now hes 8 inches s to v its amazing i love him and hes doing very well. i will hopefully breed him but i gotta get a female first and hopefully soon
The best kind of bedding in the cage is no bedding they can be eaten and get stuck inside and cause them to die. Use live plants and drip and mist systems to keep the humidity up. I even use a humidifier in the morning
WOW! thats huge! What r u keeping in it! i wanted to build something like that and put a big fake tree and use small real plants to fill in. Id really like to see pictures
my cham eats mealworms and superworms and crickets and a moth here and there. just keep trying because soon enough he will want something new to eat... trust me
If there is no fertilizer or any other chemicals put into the grass or ground is it safe to feed my cham earthworms?? they are all over the place and it had me wondering... If yes how big is too big?
