here is a misting chart to go by for your cham.
10 second mist when light comes on in morning. mines at 7am.
15 seconds at 9 am. 20 seconds at 12. 10-15 seconds at 2.
10-15 seconds at 4. and 10-15 seconds at 6. each month add 10+ seconds to each. also you should get some sort of plant for the...
both of you took it wrong. the anger comes from seeing any animal looking like that. i did not assume the owner neglected to take care of the cham. if i did i would have stated that. much like i did in an earlier post. i messaged kj to clear things up.
i agree and couldn't care less about sounding harsh.
this is a life we are talking about. i'm so sick of people getting an animal and then asking questions. OP needs to grow up and learn responsibility.
makes me sick how people barely care how they are effecting the animal.
tables would be...
yeah i'm not to worried about him choking, as long as the feeders width is smaller then between his eyes. i just was hoping for a chart or something to go by in terms of what would be appropriate for his age. as for worms, if you want you can get him phoenix worms and feed him them everyday...
is there an ideal cricket size to go by depending on how old the cham is?
right now i'm feeding my 3.5 month old veiled 1/4'' but i feel that he could definitely eat bigger i'm just not sure what size to go to. any input is appreciated.
so bottled spring water will do?
i was told that if the water from your taps is safe enough for humans to drink then a chameleon can. which my tap water is.
but that hazy tinge it has makes me think otherwise.
I bought 150 1/4" crickets the other day and noticed when I got home that there is a full grown female cricket in there with them. Now its too big to feed to my cham but is there amy way I can breed her if I got a full grown male? Would be pretty neat to do. Ill just end up throwing it out if not.
I have my 3.5 month old veiled in my room which is very warm. He's in a screen cage with the right and back sides covered. I also keep my room door closed because I have the air conditioner on. And I have my stand up fan blowing towards the cage. Do you think.he's ok for air flow? My only...
Is distilled water ok for a cham or should I just go with regular water? I'm not sure I want to use the water from my taps because ot has a milky hazy tinge to it.
I'm aware that chams aren't a handle all the time animal. But how would you go about getting them used to being held? Mines 3.5 months old eats out of my hand no problem and isn't scared of me in his cage. But once I take him out he can't wait to get back in. Should I take him out more or just...
