    yellow silkworm cocoon????

sorry about the late reply! the worm cutting through would not be a problem as such, when you buy cocoons they usually have a big hole cut into them and the worm removed as well.

    yellow silkworm cocoon????

Sorry to butt in here (I don't know the answer to your question), but I was wondering what you all do with your cocoons and how clean they look? As a handspinner I use cocoons in my yarns sometimes and was wondering if I could combine feeding silk worms to my chameleon and then using the...

lol, I recently got to witness two veiled girls doing the hula dancing hissy fit at a pet shop, it's crazy! They were actually swinging in identical motions when they saw the male - who was just nicely showing off his colours...

what are some of your guys and girls other hobbies

Yarrrrn Hello again! I buy most of my wool online (mostly from UK sheep), some I process myself from the raw state, but it's a lot of work and I've got a Chameleon to mist! I do spin some non-animal yarns, mainly soy silk - there is some undyed and green soy silk in my shop at the moment...

UVB is on the back wall, two tubes, not to worry. :D As said, still a work in progress, one new vine has since gone in as well, but I am waiting for the ficus to get a bit higher first (The top bit really isn't as empty as it looks!). :) The cork lies across, as the pic shows, hence no...

Set-up for my first chameleon. :) Here is my current set-up for a 3.5 month old panther chameleon. It measures 4ft x 3ft x 2ft and has a planted bottom with a ficus and an umbrella plant. There is a dripper on the top left and several jungle vines. A big piece of cork covers the bottom and...

what are some of your guys and girls other hobbies

My main hobbies are knitting and spinning yarn (yes, that's with a spinning wheel) and many other textile interests... I also sell the yarns, so that sideline keeps me pretty busy. Other than that I work fulltime, do a bit of gardening, illustration, love antiques and now obviously spend a...

    Baby Panther turning black

How long have you had him? We were getting really scared about our new addition because he was very dark a lot of the time, but all I read was that it really is mostly the stress of moving. I couldn't believe it, as we provided the right temperatures and all, but after a few days he has now...
