This is her first clutch, she has not been bred, she is about 7 months old, the vet took x-rays, we feed her dusted and gut loaded crickets and super worms, her cage is exactly what it needs to be (I've already made sure of everything by the local herpetologist and on the forums) and we have a...
I've been giving her calcium supplements. She still hasn't laid any eggs yet. I was just wondering why she's holding her tail straight up on occasions. She has been eating lately so that's good. Any info would be great thanks a lot.
At the herpetologist and he says she has eggs that are underdeveloped because of a calcium problem. So she is getting calcium supplements for a week to correct that and if her eggs aren't dissipated or fully grown in a week they'll have to spayed her. I can't wait to find out the cost of that...
Maybe she's not getting the right amount of UVB because she's prego and hanging out at the bottom so much and not near her lights?.. Maybe she started her egg growth and retreated to the bottom like they do and was just away from the light for too long?..
Also, the vet said that she felt "swollen" in her stomach area indicating the possibility of egg growth. He said her color, grip and mouth were all very healthy. So I just don't know what to do. I'm going to get another UVB light to illuminate the middle branches where she sits mostly because...
Even if she has a really strong grip? Would that have anything to do with her not eating? I can't feed her more if she won't eat... The vet I took her to just now said she seemed really healthy.
First off

Well it's been days and she isn't interested in the sand at all that I put her in. I used a larger bucket like in the video and she just sat in it all pissed off and patterned out. She still isn't eating or drinking, she sits at the bottom of her cage and doesn't move much. She doesn't sleep...
It might be sort of small... I have another bucket I can put her in that is much larger. I am just using washed play sand with no dirt (which I've read is fine) and I will moisten it up and let her chill in it for a day. I just don't want to try and make her lay eggs if that's not the issue...
