Have you tried feeding your cham bugjuice? When my cham was doing really bad, what I did was I killed a cricket by crushing it with tweezers. Then I cut it's head off and squeezed the insides of it into my chams mouth. That way it won't have to digest the skin of the cricket which seems to be...
Don't want to scare you, but I understood that if chameleons don't shed for long time periods, it could be an indication of something being wrong with it's skin, like some infection etc...
I am in Finland and the stuff the vet recomended either bacibact, betadine, or some gel with 1% hydrocortison. Bacibact is some antibacterial/antibiotic stuff that they sell without prescriptions, and it is meant for people. I guess betadine is a universal solution that is sold around the world...

My cham also got burned like that and I contacted the vet by phone. My vet just told me to increase the distance to the lamp, and put some ointment on it. (I used an ointment that was in gel form so that it would dry out fast)
I also asked is it...
I am in a country that has only 5 million people, there are like only 2 vets available in this whole country that know anything about chameleons, or even just reptiles, and both are not answering since it's weekend.
I tried the central animal hospital that is open 24/7, but there was nobody...
My veiled cham is in really bad shape, hasn't been eating for days, and when I try to give it bug juice, it pukes it out, because it was given orally an antibiotic that tastes really bad. I have the antibiotic solution, I have the proper needles&syringes. I just have no idea where to inject it...
Disclamer! This is not advice, I am simply asking others that could this work
One day I was wondering if it is possible to feed a cham protein/carbohydrate powder meant for bodybuilding, in a situation where it is unable to eat, but it is able to drink water dripped on it's mouth by a...
Haven't had moss in the cage for over a month.
My cham finally pushed out something, but it wasn't solid. When I came home, I found a puddle of goo on the bottom of his cage, and a white/orange ureate stick, but no turds in sight.
Aren't they always supposed to come out together?
I am not force feeding him with a syringe. What I do is stick the syringe near to his head, and let one drop come out. After he sees the first drop come out, he comes next to it and licks up the drops that come out of the syringe, and he drinks up like 2-3 syringes that are 2,5ml.
I do this cos...

Hi!
From the other side looks normal.
Could it be some kind of burn from the ureates being too strong?
I tried washing it away with warm water and a Q-tip, but it seems to be "burnt into the skin"
Will this go away with the next shed, or is this some kind of fungus infection...
I understood that most of the Coil lights give out too much intensive UV to chameleons.
I use an Arcadia D3 tube, and a separate lamp to give basking heat (crystal clear sun, or something like that)
If I were you, I would set up at least an 18-inch tube lamp, so it will not need to sit in...
I understood that some veiled's will not lay their eggs if they can see that some other living being has seen them digging the hole for the eggs.
At least my veiled wouldn't do so, so what I did was I put a huge towel to cover it's cage, and I put a webcam on the top of it's cage to keep an eye...
