So you put her in a laying bin outside of her cage? My female is gravid and she just had no interest whatsoever in her laying bin inside her cage. Maybe I should try keeping her in a bin. Just worried it would stress her too much
I’m looking online for the proper vitamins and I see a multivitamin with D3. I know both are 2 times a month so could you just get this combo and not have to alternate every week? Just do twice a month?
I was just looking some more and it seems it can hurt their eyes as well!! I can’t believe this product is even available so useless! Thanks I’ll be taking them out :)
Hello everyone!
I have two Chams a veiled female and a Jackson both of them were rehomed to me with all supplies. They both had been housed in the typical chameleon kit with the compact UVB and useless blue lights. Since then the veiled is in a much larger cage and I have purchase T8 UVB for...
I picked up a Jackson chameleon from a girl just trying to get rid of him on FB. She said he was in a huge cage. Upon picking him up turned out to be the 18,18,30 so he will be getting upgraded soon. I’m working on getting the proper things for him because it was clear she had no idea. He’s...
I will take a pic as soon as I’m back home. It’s a round 4 gallon bucket. It’s 12 inches deep. It has all sand in it. I had soil sand mixture but I was worried she didn’t like it so switched to all sand
Ok, so if you think they are stress colors I have another question. I have a new cage that should be here today. My stupid cat jumped on her cage and broke the screen on top (when he colors kind of started) it’s a bigger cage and I also got the recommended t5 light as well. Should I move her to...
I have researched many of these threads and I’m just thrown off by her recent change in colors. I had her at the vet about 3 weeks ago just for a general check up. They said she had eggs and showed me the X-ray but said they weren’t calcified yet so it would be a few more weeks. I’m freaking out...
Just a random question. Why can’t you use calcium sand or any type of sand at the pet store for a laying bin. I know it’s more expensive but is there really a huge difference. Thanks :)
Anyone know of any breeders that would have either available at the moment. I’ve checked all the online stores I know of and and basically everything is sold out. Really wanting a female carpet but would settle for a Pygmy type
Thanks everyone! Yes I figured those were his pissed colors , he's starting to turn more green this morning. That pic was taken when I took him right out of the box. And the poor thing was so tired. I basically got him cuz petsmart had him in a cage with a bowl of water!!!!! Argh I had I save...
Hello everyone
I just got a new Jackson cham tonight! now Ive had a veiled and im just wondering what are some major differences in the two different types as far as their care??!!? Also Im thinking its a boy because of the large horns but not totally sure? hmmmm also how does he look?
