Gonna make a chameleon jungle gym

Some friends of ours were cutting down a huge tree. We picked up a truck load of all sizes of limbs. Gonna build a really cool outdoor cage/ jungle gym. It will be epic. Oh we also put in a pond in the back yard today and planted our gardens. Been real busy.

Here is the start of the pond.

Yeah we are so damn excited. It's not everyday you get an opportunity to bring home as much wood as you want of all sizes. And to think we were gonna do a PVC pipe cage! Pish posh! Lol. Im really excited if you couldn't tell.

Exciting! I need to go out and cut me some limbs down. That is a great idea. Are you going to actually cage it in or just use it openly when you are outside. Tagging along to see what you come up with.

Unloaded the wood to see what we have to work with.........OK now what? LOL Next to figure out the design and how in the world we are going to put it together.



We also got some branches that have natural vines around them. We tried to get all of the vine.

whenever we trim back out crepe myrtles i always hold onto some of the larger or interesting branches. you never know when you might need to redo or enhance an enclosure!!!

Planning to begin working on it this weekend. I am also going to start a project for the new bearded dragon. Something similar to this.

And my boyfriend has been busy researching plants and fish for our new pond. Ha. Busy, busy.

Ok, curvy tree branches.....we are way over our heads. I guess it's gonna be jungle boxes, not jungle huts. Dammit, this wood is B.S.

A little more progress. Hope to finish both cages tomorrow. Then to figure out how to add the inside components.

Wow. I'd pay money for that. Simple, yet very natural and pleasing.
