At 8 months, they are still growing up nicely?

Even Poppi was standoffish and blew up like a balloon when I put my hand in to offer her range time. So I just had to take a pic of her all puffed up.

Figured out why the crankiness:

As you can see, in the second picture, she doesn't look nearly as fat or gravid.

I am worried about the whole egg bit and just hope that she isn't gravid even though she is in the right age now.

Prometheus still has such attitude. In his small viv, he is always angry and mean and on guard. I am lucky if he will let me put my hand anywhere near him.

He is all scrunched up and pulling away from my hand so he looks smaller than he really is.

And, I was hoping he was big enough to try out the new cage I wanted to experiment with and see if giving him more space would help even a little with his attitude. I will post another entry about how that is going.

Prometheus' big "cage" has been very entertaining and educational. My current project: How do people who free range their chams make sure they get enough water?

Poppi and I have a few laying bin issues. I am starting a thread hoping for some input and ideas. Poppi has had access to her bin from day one and she thinks she lives on the beach. :) So, I have problems keeping the sand clean and wet/dry enough.
