After the huge intake of food I posted yesterday, I figured that the babies wouldn't eat very much today. Yeah, right!
Prometheus lived up to my expectations. He only ate a couple of crix and 4 mealies. Reasonable, right?
Not Poppi! She ate 6 crix and 15 mealies! What a pig.
But, I finally got weights on them. It was quite the struggle but I won! He wasn't thrilled but once I put him in the bowl, he calmed right down this time and it was really easy to get his weight of 41 grams. (He is 4.5 months)
Poppi weighs in at 50.5 grams at 5 months! Although I can't imagine how much of that is in her gut.
So, I guess my lesson from this is that it looks like she is gonna eat everything I put in there with her.
And, nobody is coming up with any suggestions on how much is too much food. I've spent all day researching and still nothing. Oh well. time to send some PM's I guess...
