i don't know the breed of pygmy chameleon I have sorry no pics but it looks like the chameleon in ferretinmyshoes member avatar pic if that helps. so if anyone can tell me id like to know thanks :D.

Hi! Mine is a bearded leaf pygmy, or Rhampholeon brevicaudatus. They're one of the most common pygmy species and can be confused with Rhampholeon spectrum, or the spectral pygmy. The brevs (like mine) have a small scale beard under their chin in both sexes. The usually have a mild stripe pattern if any. The spectrals look a little more angular in the head but I've only seen pictures of those. I can post some more pics if that would help...

Mine has a beard too but can u post pics of beard and body please. That would be helpful :). How do I tell the sex?

The females have shorter tails and from what I've seen have broader bodies. The males have longer tails. The tail is the most reliable way to tell by looking.

This is my little female "Octavia" who is always a light green (although she looks brown in this pic) +/- stripes:

And this is my little male "Tiberius" who is always brown and usually stripey:

You can see the difference in tail length and the beards on both. They're so much fun to watch (if I can find them) and it still amazes me how long their tiny tongues are!

Oh then I have a girl she looks just like Octavia lol. She didn't drink or eat the first day today I'm pretty sure she just needs to get situated. Also you give them water by misting correct because the person I bought them said they drank from a bowl and I always thought you misted them can you calrify this for me please? Thanks!

Chameleons of any kind won't drink from a bowl. The larger species have to see water moving to recognize it. I just mist my pygmy's cage, they're so small they just sip from droplets on plants. I know some people spray them directly but mine don't appreciate that at all so I try not to hit them directly. I've never actually seen them drink anything but their urates are always totally white so I guess they are!

Also yours is probably wild caught like mine, because that's pretty much the only thing available, so it can take them some time to be comfortable with new surroundings. Give her lots of hiding places to make her feel safe and interact with her as little as possible for the next few weeks. Mine ate immediately but I don't think they were in the best conditions with the importer that had them. If the person you got her from had fed her recently she just may not be hungry enough to venture out. Just give her some time to get settled.
