The Tortoise and the Wallaby

I figured all you animal lovers would like this picture. I walked in to the living room and found these two together sleeping. Quite the couple.

wow his or her shell looks sweet, are they easy to care for? how do they do as pets?

Thats it! Im moving to Florida! Based on wallaby ownership alone!

Do wallabies make good pets? Can they be housebroken? Do they smell? I want to know all about them!! Please share

Coodbloodal: A lady breeds them here in indiana. I think you have to register with DNR or something. Not sure about michigan though.

We talked about doing it for the kinkajours and brown ruffed lemurs. LOL

I can get a LEMUR if i move to florida?

Thats coooooool, I want a wallaby, NOW!!! In fact, I want a wallaby and a Lemur, Florida here I come.

Actually I live on the Oregon Coast and Keep both Macropods (wallabies and Kangaroos) and Primates. The Macropods are much more fun and less stress, the tortoise is a free range rescue I took in and gets beat up if I put her with the bigger pair. The Wallaby is a baby that i am bottle feeding as I raised his father and grandfather and they were both albinos so He is het for albino and now as display/education animal. Its not Florida but its not bad here either. lol
