Zoo Med Dripper

My Little Dripper has broken It's pissing out water in the whole tank so I'm a little mad. Will misting be enough until we get a new one / make a new one (hopefully Sunday)?

get a plastic bottle, prick the bottom with thumbtack/ pin, you get yourself a dripper.
I mist 4 times a day. 5 minutes each. there is ample drying time in between session.
I never use dripper.

Have you got a plastic/polystyrene cup that you could make a pinprick hole in the bottom of? I made Lily a dripper out of a plastic cup but she completely ignored it. Anything will do that you can make a tiny hole in the bottom of She'll be fine with just misting - you might want to mist for longer though until you get a new one or make something. There's a thread somewhere about making a home-made dripper - I'll see if I can find it. I could never find the parts to make one though.

We used to use a cup before but cos it was so small it was empty before you know it. Well we are going to take the zoo med dripper apart and use the tube in a old ice cream tub and this fishing clamp thing we got which control's the pressure. We had to buy that cos the dripper was useless!! Not sure she even drinks when it's on anyway!!

Don't buy a new one,just find a good strong tidy container,remove the little tap,rubber washers and the nut,drill the same size hole in the new container and done mate new dripper,no cash spent,no problem
