Hi guys, I've posted something in ages! Just enjoying my lovely boy. It's been 9months now, and I love him!! I know, chameleons are essentially solitary animals, they rarely tolerate their own kind , imagine humans! But I do believe you might bond with your chameleons.. I'm obsessed with him! Keep tracks and note or every changes and behaviour, and in 9 months I notice some changes. He's always being very mild but never crawl on my hand to get out, let's say he never tried to bite me when I let him out, but recently he does climb on me and he so docile! The last two times he decided to take a poop while I was holding him!:p
He knows I love him! He does..:D
The bottom line is I would never have done that, so well, without everybody's help here. Thank you

Thanks Jessica.. Well I've been told red bar ambilobe, but he's showing some very strange colours I think he might be a cross, and I meant to ask that to you guys as I can't figure it out!!:p

Now he's mainly Green and yellow and all the orange and blue are gone..

I've heard those guys change colors permanently sometimes. In the first pic he does look a bit dehydrated, his casque is sunken.

Well your second set of pix looks ambilobe.

but that first pic is very strange..

I know! He changed colour dramatically since the last shed.. Now the orange is coming back a lil.. He shed today, let's wait and see...
Fender is only 1 year old anyway, I'm sure I'll witness many more colour changes!

Glad you are enjoying him, and him you. :)

His bars arent really bars, I vote cross, though Im no expert.

Hes beautiful anyhow, and should continue to change it up a bit for you. ;)

I was thinking the same thing. It is easy for Panthers to become dehydrated. They need lots of water, not only to drink but to shower. Misting and dripping is good. Mine like to sit under a dripper most of the day.

Trust me guys he's al right.. He get's plenty of water every day, misting twice a day for at least 5 minutes and he has a dripper too. I see him drinking as weel and checking his poop.
It's just the angle of the pic..

I'm not an expert too but my guess was cross too..Never seen a green ambilobe in the all forum, unless my boy is "faulty":p
He's mainly green and he get's dark red around his eyes and spine.. So curios to see what happen in the next few months!
