well the canon mpe-65mm is 500£,and this lens u couldnt take face or body shots..its got min focal of 1:1 life size..it goes from 1:1 - 5:1 life size..the canon 60mm macro lens goes to 1:1 but i can also take full body shots with it..i think that was 300£? the eye shots where taken of a adult yemen at 2:1 life size.

Thats all I use to photograph my chameleons.
D80 coupled with a 60mm and a shoe mount flash.
I'm surprised your Veileds let you get that close without tearing the lens right off your camera.
Looks like you will have some Veiled eggs soon.

i should of explained by self better..kind of rude.these are not my yemens..i dont own any chameleons..i keep prayingmantids.i recently went to wolics house to shoot her yemens.not sure if shes member here..wolic is her reptile forum name.after seeing hers im going to get one my self in the next few weeks.There so cool.

Did anyone else think one of her Males is having some health issues? The Adult male with the close up face shots. His Casque is to crooked for comfort from what I can tell, maybe it is just the angle.

That's Cobalt, my Ambanja/Nosy Be mutt. Unfortunately, he's getting old and looks nothing like that (he's mostly red and green believe it or not) but I love 'em the same. Again, nice shots!
