There's usually chemicals inlcuding fertilizers in non-organic soil mixes. Are there no Nurseries or organic centres in your area? Could you make you own soil perhaps, using your own compost, worm castings, sand, peat, etc.

Go to Lowes or Home depot they have all sizes of bags of organic! It's great with no pesticides or foam balls or anything that can harm ur lil guy :)

I'd like to know what yuo guys purchased, cause I went to lowes, osh, home depot(who suck), and wally mart and couldnt find DIDLY SQUAT that didnt have some kind of fertilizer or something in it.

I ending up going to canadian tire... and i got some type of organic soil.. for tropical plants.. which i have a corn plant.. but i just put it in the new pot today and I noticed that when my female veiled goes to dig her eggs the soil might collpase on her...
WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Be sure to dampen it enough so it holds together when you squeeze it in your hand. BTW, if you can't find good soil, use sandbox sand. There are no chemicals in it.
