Would like advice on my female panther

She seems to be acting weird lately, and turning darker colors... I've come to the conclusion that she may be egg bound, but she is only 5-6mo old. I got a pot full of organic potting soil and put her in it. Covered the top and put lights on it and left her alone. When I came back she didn't display any signs of digging What do you think?

Here is Lilly

i dont have a female but i think alot of ppl use moist sand that u can make a fist in and it will stay.and firm enough she can dig a tunnel that it wont collapse. read older posts or pm a senior that breeds. or both.

Okay I've heard that, too. I did wet the soil and pat it down so it's nice and tight so that it won't collapse.

It's weird now she looks thin and all adventurous.. Just hope I catch her at the right time so she can lay her eggs. Thanks for all the help!

I've been looking for one, but can't seem to find one with a decent width and depth.. thinking about putting the plant pot inside her enclosure with wet sand

a 5gal bucket is fine. thats what i use, fill it halfway and she should dig. i have a female veiled at 1 year old and she is yet to lay.
