Worried about preggo girl

So Ashi has been gravid for about 2 1/2 weeks. When I walked into the room to feed her (I've seen this four times) she is displaying shockingly bright gravid colors! She has no sight of Yoyo, my male. I'm concerned, does this mean she's trying to lay, but can't so she gets distressed and displays the coloration? If it is a laying issues I'll post some pictures of her bin

If she was only mated two and a half weeks ago she's not likely ready yet. They will show the bright colors off and on or even constantly while gravid. Have you got an appropriate egglaying container INSIDE her cage???

It is a lowes 5 gallon bukcket filled with sand and perlite that are constantly moist. It's at the bottom of her cage. She has a lot of privacy in the room since I am the only one who goes in there to feed her
