Wild cought moth ..(picture)is it safe???

I saw this moth flying out side by our porch light and just had to catch it..now I'm wondering if it is safe to feed..its pretty big its a lot bigger than a quarter ...what do you guys think???

I personally wouldn't. Just because you never know what kinds of infections a wild bug can have and pass onto your chams! :\

Do chams in the wild not eat then?
Mine I let out in the garden when its nice and he gets all kinds of butterflies,moths,flies and other goodies. He loves it
 
It appears to be Hyles lineata. It is fine to use as a feeder. There have even been artificial diets created for them (like hornworms, but they are not commercially available.)
