Wild Caught Jackson Pair!

Sorta new to the forums and received these guys last Friday morning and im still stoked on my new addition! Oh, and my female is gravid and the sweetest thing! When I take the male outside, he sheds BRIGHT yellows and STANDS UP on his hind legs when he basks.(true characteristic of a wild chameleon because when their at the highest peek of a tree they are known to stand up right "reaching" out to the Sun). I also included a pic pf my free range bins that they have been loving lately. I actually prefer them over screen cages, as the chameleons behavior seems to be more docile and happier from not being so enclosed and caged in. Well let me shut up already and just post the pics lol :p

That girl looks like she could drop babies tomorrow. Nice looking pair.

Sorry for the long response guys but Walmart has me working crazy hours!! :p
But on a serious note Laurie, she hasnt eaten in a week and im not sure if its because shes nearing in to giving birth or just because its new environment "stress". Ive only been offering mealworms since last friday, but im going to my local reptile store to get some crickets and waxworms today. Hopefully she bites, but the male is eating like no tomorrow on a good note.:)

I'm curious, how do they act being handled after being used to the wild?

Do they adapt well to captivity?

Surprisingly they act very docile, but I believe its because I have them in those free range tubs. I think it takes a little more stress off of them as opposed to if I had them in screen cages. The female loves blackens if I hold her in my room but I notice both of them have no problem being handled as long as their outside and exposed to the Sun. They both brighten in color every time I take them out for direct Sunlight.
