Just got a bunch of these to vary my lil dudes diet..
Just wondering if anyone uses them and for what??
Treats or a main part of the diet?

They're supposed to be rather nutritious and I believe can be used as a staple. Variety is the key, though! If you're in their range; culture them. It's much cheaper and easy as dirt once you get things setup.

They do tend to have a tough skin. With my leopard geckos, they have caused problems; undigested maggots can be found in the droppings. For some reason this is only tends to happen to a couple of mine, though.

Chameleons, as far as I know, don't tend to have this problem.

I've been calling them Phoenix Worms, then I heard they also go by Calci Worms, Reptiworms, and so on. I'm going to try some because my chamy is so darn picky. I will post a thread when I get results, good or bad!
