Howdy,
Hookworms are treated with Panacur (Fenbendazole). Per the Klingenberg book, it is dosed at 25-50mg/kg orally, daily for 3-5 days and repeat in 10 days. Panacur is pretty safe and effective. It is spe'd for treating most all nematodes with very few, if any, side effects
. You can buy it from a number of "over-the-counter" suppliers including LLL Reptile.
You may not earn any points with your vet (without their approval) if you go off and buy your own supplies and follow others' dosing instructions
. So just be aware that on your next trip back to the vet, you may get a cold shoulder 
.
