Why so serious?

Hello, just posting this to hear a few people's opinion so, which chameleon in your own opinion and experience are usually layed back? Which ones are more so cranky and require more patience?

Each species of chameleon can be either, regardless of what kind you get. One person can have a veiled that's aggressive and all around evil, but then someone else might have some that's the most lovable thing in the world :)

In my own experience with my two chams, my veiled hisses and tries to bite while my ellioti doesn't mind being handled, but I doubt he loves it either!

I would say jacksons are pretty laid back. Your best bet is to get whatever you are looking for at 3-4 months old so it gets used to handling early. I know many people with jacksons who are more relaxed. I also know many who have veileds and they never want to be touched. But like ferrah said each kind can be relaxed, it's hit and miss!

My male Booberry (Avatar pic) is a sweetheart. He'll crawl out on my arm when I'm cleaning his cage. He loves being hand fed, and has only puffed up a very few times when he was the size of my thumbnail.

My female Ms Pink absolutely hates me. In fact I believe she's planning on hiring a hit man in the very near future. If I get too close to her cage she turns crazy patterns and gapes her mouth wide open and hisses. If I dare to put my hand in her cage she will actually come after me. Kinda funny in a way because she is really cute. But they have some pretty impressive teeth for a small lizard.

This is Ms Pink

How something so cute can be so evil I don't understand...

Any cham can be laid back if you hit the jackpot :) my veiled is just evil, can't get his food cup out without being attacked but my panther is such a sweetheart, loves to crawl down to be picked up.
