Why don't discoid cockroaches get the love they deserve?

It's always dubia this or that with some orangeheads or whatever else sprinkled on top... finally got my original colony of 12 discoids to turn into a feedable amount and man they catch a cham's eye. Don't climb or fly, and have similar care ar dubias, but they are soooooooo much more active. Was the first time my cham ate from a feeder cup. They run around pretty much non stop. Very underrated!

They're sold online, usually people in florida have them since they're legal there. They do seem harder to come by than others for whatever reason.

Yea but 2/3rds of my roaches are pretty (and locked away to never see the light of day)!

Actually i’m wondering if I killed my adult GB roaches. The GGBs look good though!

Dubia start off much faster IME. Once the discoids get going though you'll have plenty.
