I would get o
They were anoles...cute little things. It was weird...all but two hatched at about 8:30 in the morning. They are what first got me started with my new pastime that I love. Fiona is my 1st and only chameleon at this time but sometime I would love a male of some type. I don't think I will get into breeding so it doesn't have to be a veiled.:)
E from Alphakenc

What all does Alphakenc breed?
Ladies,Alphakenc I feel like a woman when I breed these chameleons (veiled n panthers) I watch the females chamies dropping their eggs to putting the eggs in the closet chambers,And I swear I feel just like a woman, having that beautiful baby in my womb for months, all day i did is feeding my babies with quality gutloaded feeders, until the eggs hatch like Im there to cut the umbrella cord, then putting them in the seprate cribs....
Poop cleaning like diaper change every 3hours on the hours, prepared feeders like the formula milk, trust me If i can breast feed them I would hand feed every single one of them individually....

I see nothing there about labor pains. But....I will add....it takes more to being a Mom than giving birth.

Anyway ,I thank you guys for the opinions, on the wholesale chameleons vs retail chameleons ,I am going to get something to eat ,see u guys on next thread.

So alphakenc I got alot of emails and ask me if I wana wholesale bunch of my chameleons???
Here is my opinions of the wholesale....
Why would the great breeders want to sell their precious chamies into a whole sale business??? First,I will never trust a wholesale buyer to resale my chamies just because they only wana sell them quick and once they go to another dealer's hand ,then they resale them to the general public,so when the regular consumer purchase their cham at last, these poor chamy have been shift around several place ,environment, enclosuress, temperature, feeders ....etc ,maybe thats why we get lots new members having trouble to feed them or sickness happen.
Plus Who will have the best information on these "wholesaler chams" ?the resaler ? The buyer? Or is the original breeders??
Maybe thats the reason u will never see the forum sponsors sell their chams to the "whole saler"...
Thats why their quality cham in their stock are cost much more, since when the customers buy the chams not knowing where they came from or how they been taking care of...
I am so glad I dont wholesale my cham cause each every single one are involved with my endless hours care n my years of the experience along with the knowledge I learned and share in this forum!!
Any thought, please feel free to express ur opinions :)
One reason that well meaning breeders sell wholesale is that they cannot sell their babies retail fast enough. Once babies get to three months of age there is a short window to sell them before they start getting overtly aggressive and start physically damaging each other. That produces a panic and the breeder just wants them all gone ASAP. The way to avoid this panic is to be ready with a whole lot of housing for not only babies, but grow out cages. If you set yourself up with cages to properly house your growing babies until, say, six months of age, then you do not have to panic sell. You can chose your buyers carefully and you will be able to sell animals without scars or nipped tails.
I suggest starting to advertise your babies at two months of age for shipping at three months of age. That gives you a month to build up a good chunk of the clutch sold. This will ease the housing pressure on you. The main goal is to be set up so you are not forced to panic sell. Be patient and keep your dedication to quality! That is what we need in the community! There will always be the ones that do a quick sale to decrease their feeding costs and get right on to the next clutch. No judgement there. That is a valid business model. But, as a hobbyist, if you prepare well, you can afford to treat each one with top care and send it only to the best homes.

So why is no one wholesale Parson yet??
Regardless is a pygmy,Jackson, veiled, panther?they are all beautiful chameleons any thoughts ???
Edit :never mind,Focus alphakenc!!

They do. The parsonii breeders in Europe sell to a wholesaler in the US.

Yes ,I agree,I learn that from when I was breeding my discus fishes, they start tiny by eating their parents body slime mucus, and this was when Mr Jack Wattley was very famous at the time, each discus can out grow the tanks pretty fast ,and they are the most beautiful freshwater fish at 90s ,I incorporated my discus method into my chameleons method starting on my veiled at 2004when alphakenc was at very young tender age.
Tanks and cages are the same concept, thats when ur Dragon strand cage business comes in to innovate some breeding cages, which I already have set my vision in the next level, and u are correct that alphakenc do have lots babie pics on display only for that purpose in the (1-2month old )ad ,since all the older one are already gone into great people home,I love to plan my breeding n selling strategy ahead of time just like when I play my chess game.:)

Thank u for letting me know, since US parsonii breeders are still steps behind,we breeders shall all plan our vision accordingly n closing the Gap then exceed them in time.
