The slight tilt of the head, that certain lilt in the eye, and check out the taper of that gular crest. Sorry guys, she's been spoken for!

Bob, you always want the best of the bunch. Yes she certainly is lovely, but she might want to come up here and get a stud worthy of her. Have you even thought to ask her that?

I don't mean to hit below the belt, but rumor has it, you're a little short on studs up in the frozen tundra!

Oh!! you are just evil! Yes I am short on studs ( 0 ) but I will have some, I have no idea when, but I will have them. Wait I have a baby werneri, and he is male - will that work?

Yes Tylene, that's Daisy, I think she's going to have to wait for spring for Kaliki
to start feeling a little more amorous. Maybe another month or two. And yes, I have 2 males,Nubby is a bit young yet. He's growing fast but will need another 5-6 months before he's ready to breed.

Laurie I know you're going to think I'm picking on you, but your stud seems to be one horn short!!!

She looks great. I'd love to see all of her. She looks like her momma.

The boys seem to take a little longer to mature than the girls. Kinda like in humans:rolleyes:

Come on Tylene, Kaliki is 18 months old and weighs more than 95g.. Cute little Daisy is around 9 months, although she' up there in weight(55g.). If you want to see full body pics look at my last thread, the 2 most recent pics of her are there.;)

I didn't realize he was that old already. Seems like the females are ready to breed around 9 months.

I think she' ready, when I put their cages together they hang out close to each other, but when I put them in the same cage they don't do anything. Neither seems upset by the other, neither change color or gape, just nothing happens.
Right now I'm putting them through a cool period with a lot of humidity to see if that will stimulate some breeding activity later. I'll keep you updated.

How can Kaliki possibilely 18 months? I swear I only hatched him last week. Maybe a little over a week, rotten creatures sure grow up when you turn your back.:( But he sure has grown up beautifully.
