White spine

Hi guys

My 6/7mo male panther ongo has started developing a white spine... originally the tips of his spine were turning white only at his greenish stripes(slightly visible in the pic on my hand) but over the course of the last month it's become his entire spine. I'm fairly sure it's not a burn, and it's been about a month since he has shed. It doesn't cause him any pain when I poke and prod it. Just feels hard. Any ideas?

If the last shed was a month ago I would be comfortable saying he will be shedding soon.

Do you have any clear close up photos of the spines?
