Today My Panther chameleon Snickers produced some white Jelly from his vent. I suspect it is sperm, as I have had the pleasure of removing a sperm plug in the past, but I would like to get some opinions. No Poop followed it.
Lmaoo. I haven't crossed this bridge yet. I believe it might be a spem plug. But all the pix I have seen an from what I have read it seems to be discribed a lil more solid looking than what you posted and there is usually 2 of them( or 2 portions)
Tommy used to leave me little white presents on his vines after he pooped sometimes. IIrc sperm 'plugs' form when the sperm doesn't get expelled and it becomes impacted within the vent. Since they have hemipenes, one side or both may become impacted with plugs.
So is this something I should be worried about? I see nothing wrong with his vent. Oh and there was Two of them, You can see a smaller spouge at the bottom right on the first picture.
It is totally normal. Some will produce them more when they want to breed. You do have to watch to make sure they dont become impacted but they usually come out when going a poo or on their own.
