Which Fischer's species?

Hi,

I wondered if someone can tell me what species my Fischer's Chameleon is? Also I've been told it is a female; but can a female show such long 'horns'?

Many Thanks,
Tristan

That is a Kinyongia multituberculata, or Western Usambara Two-horned Chameleon.

That is definately a male, as females don't have as large of rostal horns as the males, and they are definitely not as vibrant in color.

I'm sorry if my post came off as silly. I knew you'd gotten the good advice from the smart people and I really just think your chameleon is adorable. He has a "Jimmy Durante" thing going on!

Eh not much of a bulge at the tail base. I'd say 90% male. A good profile closeup of the back half would be great.

When and where did you get him?

Send me your email if you want to join the Kinyongia group!

Are these any use?

I got him yesterday at a local petshop in Carlisle (UK).
