I have a batch on 60 yemen eggs layed August 6th and are being incubated bot 80 f to highest 82 ive been told around jan they will hatch which will mean 5 months. i have candaled them and there is a big dark part and veins and they look developed how long do you guys think it will ake for them to hatch

Not for veiled eggs, it can be anywhere from 6 months to a year depending on temps. It's usually around 7-9 but with high temps like that the babies can hatch very quickly, which isn't always recommended. Most people recommend temps more like 72-74 so the babies don't develop so fast.

Sorry but every clutch i have raised has hatched near the 6 mont mark ( + or - a few days). Most people i know consider 6 months agerage.

But the answer to when they will hatch is when you quit watching them.:D:D Good luck

What temperatures were you incubating at?

I incubate my veiled eggs at 76-83 degrees and have them hatch around 160-190 days. I think any longer then 7 months and you might have some problems with your babies.

I have heard of people incubating their veiled eggs at 30-32 and they hatched out at 9 months.
2 clutches of one of my friends hatched out at 3.5 months and he still knows what happend to have caused it, but he did not do it on purpose! And they were 100% hatch rate and 100% survival rate, infact they were bigger than my veileds that hatched out at 6 months.
