When do you guys usually upgrade your chams cage? 6 mths? 9 mths? Yr?
When to upgrade enclosure?

I upgrade the cage when the chameleon is around half the length of the enclosure. Or when they seem to want outside more.

I put my boy in his big cage by 6 months. They can really go in large cages at young ages as long as the set up is right and they are finding their food.

Ok & yea mines super territorial. He's alright when he's out his enclosure though. I gotta 8 month veiled in a large reptibreeze and gotta XL reptibreeze on the way. I wanted to build him an outside cage but schools got me so caught up. Might just use the XL for the outside cage & move em into it after summer. In case u were wondering lol

So you think I should jus get him right in the XL when it gets here and maybe use the one he's in now for outside?

He should be fine in the XL. Just watch to be sure he is eating and drinking ok.
