This past weekend my male Jackson passed away and I still have my breeding female. At what point and what method can I introduce a new male to continue breeding? Do they need to have time in separate cages before pairing them up?
They should always be kept in separate cages except for breeding.
Once you find another male make sure he is in his own cage and let him acclimate a few month's before trying to use him as a breeder.
