When these creatures Die what happens??
Do they climb down to die or do they die high up and fall down or do they die and grip the branch??
I'm preparing for when dizzy dies as she is old but healthy but has been slowing and has missed her locusts at times.

i was holding our little dude when he went so idk wat they do when they go in there cage

They fall or they hang from the tree with their last toe and force trying to stay up. Or you might have anticipated it and stayed with it the last few hours, holding it. Sad sight. You don't really want to know.

when mine died. i found her in the morning laying on her side. it was very sad. idk how she got there but thats where she was

She is between 5 and 6 but in very high spirits and incredibly strong and very dosile!!
I use this forum through my iPhone app so I'll try and get some vids up

Zoom in!
Not the best pic but will get more

The few of mine that have died have either been on their side on the floor of the cage or clinging to a branch or screen with a couple nails.

IMO it depends on where they are. like i said mine was on her side but her feet were in the position that she was holding the branch. i think if they go in their sleep and are balanced they may stay there. idk. i have seen anoles clinging to the sides of their cage in pet stores dead and other laying on their backs.
all i know is that when a cham dies it gets REALLY dark. Jewel was naturally tan but when we found her she was straight up black
