whats the difference

is there a big difference between a graceful cham and a senegal cham
because I bought what I was told is a graceful about 6 months ago,and today i rescued a young cham and was told it was a senegal cham.
I really cant see a difference between them
the first pic. is the first one I got
second pic. is the rescue I just got

Though I don't know the real difference, it seems the rescue's head shape is a bit different. The skull looks pronounced in the back and over the eyes.
 
yes it sticks out a bit more, I thought maybe because one is male and the other is female. but still unsure. If they are different, can they be housed together
 
They shouldn't be housed together regardless of a difference or not. Chameleons are solitary animals and each one needs its own complete setup, even two females of the same species. Keeping them together is very stressful for them, which impacts their behavior and health. Two chameleons, two cages.
 
I think they are both wild caught Senegal Chameleons. The Graceful Chameleons have a large prominent stripe on their flanks and higher casques and both of your specimens do not have either of these indicators. I suspect the first one is a male and your new rescue a female. We could tell for sure though with better, clearer pictures.

The rescue is definitely malnourished, dehydrated and covered in bite marks and other abrasions. A trip to a vet would be prudent. Senegal's are shy animals and prefer to be housed singly.
