What plants can I grow on tree fern panal?

I want to put these panels in my chams cage to help keep humidity in. It is an exo terra 36x18x36. What plants can I grow on the tree fern panel? I want to do java moss but that might need to much moisture.

How often and how much will the panels be misted? Your could try Dischidia, certain orchids, some ferns, and multitudes of things, but I will be determined by the amount of moisture and light you will be subjecting the plants to. I grow approximately 1,500 varieties of assorted Tropicals and am happy to help you select some suitable options. Feel free to PM me.

I mist the cage with a moonsoon for 30 seconds every 10 hours and sometimes leave it on for ten minute sessions to make sure he drinks :).

So it sounds as if the panel will dry some, in between waterings. The Java moss won't tolerate drying out well. Orchids, bromeliads. Rhipsalis, zygocactus, many ferns, and the plants I mentioned earlier will all do fine. Lighting will be your determining factor. There are small pepperomia and even ficus trees that can be mounted. If your looking for a green carpeting affect, check out pepperomia prostrata and the other small pepperomia types.

That plant comes up as a sedum, which is a temperate succulent. Will it harm your chameleon? It shouldn't. Will it do well in your situation? It's not a great candidate. It likes intense light, for good color and maintain its form, it is used to a cold, dry, Winter rest, and it is not a plant that grows in wet locations. It is possible, but not ideal and I'm not sure how long it will survive without a winter rest.

Oh do you now? :)

I primarily grow Gesneriads, but yes, my partner and I grow a large array of plants ( not the type you're probably thinking ), under lights, in our basement, which creates wonderful humidity for my chams.
I was thinking cham plants actually so if that's what ya mean then yes :)
My enclosure has a good variety but always looking for a new addition.

Lol, I admit I thought you were hinting at me growing something else. I get that suggestion a lot!

I am happy to help with pointing people to plants they can use as either decor or for function, in their chameleon habitats.

Awesome! I have a hibiscus,a schefflera, a small palm, and a bromeliad currently. Not sure what way to go,you know multiple decisions and all. :p

I plan on screwing actual pots to the sides of my enclosure and planting trailing plants, such as begonia species.
As far a bush/trees, something I've got my eye on, that happens to be sold in big box stores and is from Madagascar, as well as developing into a small shrub, is Medinilla magnifica. I'm also considering using Fuschias as cover plants, in some of my pots, to prevent the chameleons ingesting the perlite or bark in the potting mixes. I'm using citrus trees and miracle fruit bushes, as well. There are so many options, when your both a chameleon and a plant hobbiest!

This sounds awesome! I installed some of mine to the dragon ledges in my enclosure.
