hey everyone, so i noticed my cham is catching a fly every now and then when he is outside. today in particular he ate a golden looking fly. i happened to catch another one that landed on his plant and noticed it looks more like a gold bee. i was wondering what kind of fly or bee is this and could it be poisonous if ingested? im sure one would do no harm but i want to make sure for future reference.

thanks

thanks, i appreciate you doing some research. i'm just glad that its nothing to worry about. these bee's are found in abundance during the summer here in NY.

Bees are good feeders. I would just watch for stingers. But most chams are pretty smart and they shoot for the head and then its crunch time. Ive wanted to try bees but Im not going to catch any and get stung and Ive got enuff hobbies. Bee keeping is not something I want any part of. lol
