Also some crosses I've had seem to get a little sloppy. Meaning with their motor skills and social skills.

I think it depends, just like with any pure blood and cross bred. I don't think it hugely matters either way, as long as you have good genes going in a good baby will come out. Then you just gotta take good care. It may be better to cross breed to because some of the purelines are pretty inbred.
