What fixture to use with MVB?

Hello all!

I have a year old veiled chameleon and i'm getting a new enclosure setup for him. I am using the Apogee Reptarium http://www.bigappleherp.com/Reptarium-Cages and it is the 100 gallon tall 16X30X48". It is a nylon, 350 degree heat retardant mesh covered cage. According to big apple herp, as long as the surface of the bulb is not touching or extremely close to the nylon mesh, it works fine.

I was planning on using a MVB on T-Rex Active UV Heat (i think its either 125W or 160W). Just wondering what fixture do you recommend or have had experience with? Big Apple Herp recommends the Deep Dome fixture, but would the wire type fixture work well?

Thanks in advance for your help! :)

A wire fixture will allow a lot more of the bulb's heat to escape than a dome fixture will. If you are concerned about overheating the cage mesh this might be better. If your room is cool and you have trouble maintaining the proper basking temp for the cham, then the dome fixture would help.
